Many kids, especially boys, love snakes. Responsibility and common sense is required when considering a python as a pet. Pythons are generally docile although individuals can be aggressive. They are not highly active and are least active during the colder months. Their life span can be upwards of 25-30 years. The size that a python can grow to varies among species.
